TIME by Maddy                                                                                                  Chapter one Before:

In a place not so far far away, where the grass is green, the sky is blue,

the trees are red, orange, yellow, bronze and gold, the houses are brick,

the roads are dirt. They made twelve shops where you can buy healthy

cake. No One likes cheese or milk so they just banned all dairy shops.

They have one school in the whole of lisen land. (which is a small land

like the size of glen eden.) there are houses above mostly bookstores,

libraries and places where you can trade old books for new books.

(They just love books). There is a house with a helicopter platform with

a helicopter on it like it’s an escape. All the people that live in or visit a

lot they call themselves helpers, helpers are amazing if you ever meet

someone from there you will be surprised. There are no cars like the

world went backwards 100 years.

My Tahi Rua Toru Tech challenge

My tahi rua toru tech group Novah was the leader, I was the seeker, and Tyrese was the secretary. At first we had four ideas. The first idea was to make an app. First We had 4 Ideas to vote on. Smile watch which solves Depression by reminding the person who is using smile watch to get their daily vitamin D. The two other apps not including Tidy Kiwi, are called EKO play which would be an app for kids to help their parents support endangered animals. And the last app is called Plant a tree help save the world which that was My Idea. Plant a tree help save the world would give you facts about trees and inspires you to plant more trees. It took awhile deciding what to chose. Finally we decided by by doing a vote. here is a link to my 123 tech blog

My speech for the speech competition

My name is maddy today i would like to talk to about my favorite animal cats:

A group of cats can be referred to as a clowder or a glaring; a male cat is called a tom or tomcat (or a gib, if neutered); an unspayed female is called a queen, especially in a cat-breeding context; and a juvenile cat is referred to as a kitten.

My cat Mia: Mia is a tortoiseshell cat. The colors Mia has in her fur are black, beige, gray and white. 

Cat facts: Today there are 600 million house cats around the world. Cats mostly always land on their paws (feet). Cats like to chase birds, mice, rats and show them to their owners. Owning any pet is good for your heart. Cats in particular lower your stress level-possibly since they don’t require as much effort as dogs-and lower the amount of anxiety in your life. Petting a cat has a positive calming effect.

Types of cats: There are many different breeds of cats these are some breeds and some facts about the breeds.

Siberian cats: Siberian cats come from Russia. Siberian cats are an ancient breed. The first siberians arrived in the united states in 1990. Siberian cats come in all different colors the most popular colors are brown, red, black and white.The siberian cats eyes can be any color.

Tortoiseshell cats: Tortoiseshell cats have many different colors mixed together. To make there lovly coat.
Ginger cats: most ginger cats have orange, and white. Some ginger cats have yellow mixed in to.

Siamese cats: This smart loving animal is very playful. Siamese cats will grab pray the same way as a wildcat would.

Synops:  

In the story Geronimo stilton, never expected to find a magicly golden staircase in his attic. At the top of the staircase there is a magic land called the kingdom of fantasy. would you like to go to this land? Have you read any other Geronimo Stilton books?

Why I think the author chose the title:

Because the story is about the first adventure in the magic land of fantasy. A  land of fantasy, friends, fun, and adventure. A few messages from the book: Oh brave knight only you can save me. Please hurry. I am waiting for you.flying on the wings of fantasy. If you drink too much water you will disappear.

My favourite character is:

Geronimo Stilton, because he is the main character and the only mouse

in the story. He has amazing advenchers the kingdom of fantasy witch all start in the real world and then goes in his attic. Geronimo Stilton is not brave or courageous he is a complete scady mouse. Geronimo Stilton, goes on a mission to help Blossom the queen of the kingdom of fantasy. Geronimo Stilton has ginger fur.  

My least favourite character is:

The rainbow dragon that took him for the adventure and back home in the end of the story.

An interesting relationship in the text is:

 When Geronimo stilton almost got stuck in the kingdom of mermaids with the mermaid queen she tried to marry him.

A friendship in the story is:

When geronimo stilton meets scribblehopper.

2 examples of how I made connections to the author and story.

When he has the advencher in his dream, the same sort of  adventure I have in my dreams sometimes (not all the time).

I like how he said he’s afraid of his advenchers in the kingdom of fantasy but still goes on them.

The Dragons rainbow egg

I crept with my friend up the mountain, slowly and carefully I thought the dragons were all home but with two of a hundred ( which is good ), but still they are guarding the eggs cave. Without noticing that their are lots of baby dragons sleeping around the egg in a circle inside, the cave from the outside of the cave. but i accidently stood on one of the sleeping baby dragons tails. I hope they would stay asleep. but they started flying out with the egg.

I found a door in the corner of the room as I moved closer I hear music as i walk through the door the music stops

Was it a imposter or was I just dreaming I enter the room and find nobody in there “I must be dreaming” I said at just that moment I thought I heard the music again I thought it was just my friends playing around and trying to scare me so I walked up to the cupboard and found nothing "i thought"

The girls huddled together and peered cautiously out of their bedroom window. They had been awoken, just moments earlier, by a strange light that burst through their curtains, filling the room with a silvery, white hue. As one, they had tiptoed towards the source of the distraction, carefully dragging chairs across the room with them so that they could take a peek together. They staredin awe and wonder, and the sight that met their eyes. Something magical washappening in the room “the the the the room.”  said the girls. As the roomdisappeared into a magic land the moon became egg shaped the whole world became topsy turvy.    

Story starter!

‘Please look after this bear.’ That was all the tag around his soft, furry neck said.

The station guard had so far been extremely kind to the unexpected visitor on his platform, left behind after more ‘normal’ travellers had bustled their way past. “Always in such a rush!” the man had tut-tutted to himself, before he noticed a bear standing there looking rather forlorn on the deserted walkway.

The bear could not, however, stay at the station. Despite already travelling such a colossal distance from deepest, darkest Peru, this particular bear’s journey was really just beginning.

He knew what might help, and so lifted a paw to reach for what lay underneath his bright, red had a sea shell.

Wise old owl

story starter:

Amy loved this place. It’s where she came when she wanted to dream.

Sitting in the comforting tangle of roots beneath the silver tree, Amy let her thoughts drift. It was so peaceful here: the dell was bathed in a milky light that leaked through the canopy above. The only sound that could be heard was the relaxing trickle of the stream that waltzed its way through this labyrinth of serenity.

A barn owl, perching on a nearby, ivy-covered tree, ruffled it’s hazelnut brown feathers, gazing at Amy with it’s wide, round eyes.

Butterflies danced gracefully through the hazy air, enjoying the dell as much as Amy did, if not more.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes into hours. It felt as if she was caught in a dream, a blissfully happy dream.

Then, to the little girl in the dell’s surprise, the owl spoke…
